Will you be spending some quality time in the kitchen this week? It is after all Thanksgiving! I came across a cute idea, a “recipe for love” and I thought it would be so fun to make a wedding invitation set along the same lines. This invitation set would be perfect for a couple that loves to spend time together in the kitchen, the non traditional format will be raved about by all your family and wedding guests. This set would also work well with a pocket card or with some fun engagement photos. I came across a few photo ideas on pintrest, this would be so much fun! Check out the photos below and click the image to take you to more “cooking together” images. It would also work perfectly if you were going to have a kitchen bridal shower. Share your ideas with us, I know we can come up with something not only personal but completely unique.
I got inspired to create something new today because of this new font I just bought. I decided to not do any new family Christmas cards this year because there are so many out there but thought it would be fun to create a few new Save the Date cards and these are perfect for this time of year. Did you know that Thanksgiving is the second most popular holiday for engagements – and it’s only 9 days away! Maybe it will be one of you getting those proposals and engagement rings!
I love wedding inspiration boards. When I get stuck on color combinations or overall ideas for invitations I look for great inspiration boards like this one below. I found it on Snippet and Ink. They have a ton of inspiration boards just like this one. So if you need some ideas for your wedding check it out. I like this one because of the seasonal colors and warm feel, beautiful.
