In recent years wedding trends included the burlap and lace, the chalkboard look and of course the DIY everything bride, which is great, don’t get us wrong, but ready for something new? This year is all about being classic and simple, neutral color pallets with a little bit of sparkle. Our favorite ideas include:
The rustic boho outdoor Wedding
This look can be so beautiful at any outdoor location, using natural and colorful flowers, lace wedding gowns and grooms with rustic beards and non-traditional attire.
We are also loving the idea of National Park locations like Zion’s with it’s beautiful Red Rock or rocky mountain locations like Yosemite with gorgeous peaks and sparkling lakes.
Want to see some beautiful wedding photos that showcase the outdoors? One of my favorite photographers, Tyler Rye, does such amazing work!
Getting your bling on with metallics and shimmer
Metallics can be so versatile, combined with either a rustic theme or a formal event. Just don’t go too over the top, but a nice shimmer in the silverware or table setting is perfect. A brides maid dress that glimmers in the sunlight or a little brush of gold on the wedding cake. Rose Gold is sure to be a big hit this year!
Emphasis on Intimate
Isn’t it really all about you and the ones you love? Just be you, and do what makes you happy, don’t worry about breaking the bank, just enjoy the moment and what’s it’s all about! You will treasure this day for the rest of your life. Your family and closest friends are what makes it special and worth remembering.
