I love the endless possibilities with wedding paper and design. I’m so happy that Matt and Chelsie chose me to design their wedding invitations – which also led to menus and programs. I haven’t done many square tri-folds in the past simply because not many people ask for them (it does cost a little extra for postage to mail square envelopes.) I adore how this set turned out. I just needed a little inspiration from the client, colors, overall look and feel and then I added a little bit of my own touch. So many fun personal details were included, like the fall leaves, perfect for an October wedding. They also requested that I somehow include an image of the wedding venue, they really liked the old vintage door at the winery. I wasn’t sure how I was going to make their request a reality, I don’t have photos on hand of venues from states hundreds of miles away from me. But I spent some time looking and looking for not only a nice image but one that had a high enough resolution that would print well, that was not easy. But as I searched through the photos on the facebook page of winery I was able to find a few that worked perfectly, I was so happy I found those, I wanted to make sure their vision of the perfect invite came to life. Then it was time for me to draw out the map. I drew every detail in illustrator and then highlighted the main points of interest, such as the church, the venue and the accommodation locations. I also designed a matching rehearsal dinner card to go with the set. I love the end result.
When you order custom with me, I know you may be thinking it might not be worth it, but rest assured, I put in the time and effort to make sure you get exactly what you want, down to every last detail. Simply share your ideas, and leave it up to me to put it all down on paper 🙂
Congratulations Matt and Chelsie, I wish you all the best!!!
In case you were wondering, yes, we do offer wedding day items such as signs, tags, programs and more. I recently designed some signs for a wedding this past weekend. The signs were created to match the invitation suite, mint florals with gold writing. Included in the set was a welcome sign, a favorite quote from the couple, signs for the food and the soda bar and then some tags for the flavored popcorn. Sounds like such a fun event, I hope all the details came together perfectly. Congratulations Megan and Brian!!!
Just sharing some recent wedding invitation designs. These 3 are all on my boutique tri-fold cards, which I love because I love using photos and all of these are so amazing, such beautiful couples. Gold is for sure the highlight color this summer, other popular options have been pink, lavender and navy. Plus lots of florals along with shimmer and sparkle.

Sharing this pretty custom order today. Simple and clean but exactly what the bride wanted. Tan, cream and gold. Lovely engagement photos is what makes this design so perfect. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen!
Just in case you are tired of seeing pink, how about some turquoise? I love how this invitation set came together. Double-sided design with grey, turquoise, gold and a little bit of sparkle, so fun, and such an adorable couple. Congratulations Nicole and Matthew!
I love that it is finally spring, but it’s a little wet and cold today here in Utah. I hope Kendra and Kyle had some good spring weather for their wedding this weekend. Kendra wanted a similar design that I had in navy but with a cream color background, and it looks beautiful. Congratulations you guys, thank you again for ordering your invitations with me.
It’s so much fun being a small part in beautiful inspiration shoots like this one. A little vintage romantic feel with beautiful garden roses and greens and of course some gold. Utah has so many wonderful and talented wedding vendors. I’m so blessed to know them and to be able to work with them in this industry. I have the most amazing job ever! I know I say that a lot but I really love what I do. Hopefully you can find some inspiration for your wedding in these beautiful photos below. See more on Abbey Kyhl’s blog.

I designed this lovely announcement for my super sweet and beautiful neighbor Lexie. I love having the opportunity to design invitations for people I know. The couple wanted me to use navy and maroon with some gold and lavender. The end result was some pretty flowers with pretty royal colors, perfect for a winter wedding. Yes, still kind of winter here in Utah. Congratulations Lexie and Jacob, I’m so happy for you and I wish you all the best!
I designed invitations for this beautiful couple over the summer and a few months after the wedding they celebrated with an open house and wanted to send invitations that included some of their wedding photos. I love being able to see brides and grooms on their wedding day, aren’t they so perfect! Beautiful photos, and they look so happy! Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Mahoney!
Sometimes simple and classic is the perfect option for an invitation design. Congratulations Jessalyn and Taylor! I loved designing your invitations!
