I designed this custom set last fall so I’m excited to be able to finally share. Kellie and Derek were married this past weekend, congratulations you guys! Kellie requested wood grain, lace, coral and turquoise. I love their country engagement photos, they compliment the design perfectly!
Spring wedding invitation orders are starting to come in and everyone is loving this flower set so I thought I would design a pocket option along with other options that are already available on my website. You can also see this set in my new blog banner I posted today. I thought that was important to change because I had the same banner image as my website and I think that was starting to confuse some customers, thinking this (my blog) was my website. I’m also working on updating my pocket invitation pricing, currently not offering quantities less than 100 but I know that doesn’t work for everyone so I’ll be posting some new pricing at different quantities soon. Stay tuned for the update.
I’m definitely anxious for spring to come, too much snow today. Love and flowers on my mind and in my design style lately. Happy February!
From my sketch book to a wedding invitation. Trying a few different things lately, I wanted to come up with spring invitation suite that wasn’t too bold and over the top but subtle in design and color but totally says spring. I thought I would use some flowers that I have drawn in my sketch book. I outlined the images in black ink and took a photo. From there I was able to remove the outline of the flower from my photo and create a beautiful flower graphic that be used as a nice accent in any design. For this design I overlayed the flowers with a pretty light pink and soft pastel blue. The gold foil look in the names also gives it a modern/trendy look. These invitations also look amazing on our pearl paper, it gives the white a nice subtle shimmer, I love it! Order this design now, just in time for your spring wedding. www.jeneze.com.
Although we probably still have a few winter months ahead I can’t help getting excited for spring. Will you be having a spring or summer wedding this year? So I’ll probably be sharing new spring wedding invitation ideas over the next few weeks. Starting with this cute invitation design below. The script font and spring colors give it a fresh and fun look. I’ve been seeing a lot of handwritten script lettering on invitations and I think it might be the new trend this year. So many fun possibilities with color and new fonts.
And speaking of spring colors I wanted to share the Pantone colors for spring 2015. I think pantone is a great resource for color ideas for any wedding and I’m so excited about all of the fresh colors I see. Loving the classic blue, it would look perfect with strawberry and lucite green. Or maybe a combination of the glacier grey and tangerine for a summer feel. Share your color ideas with us and we will create the perfect wedding invitation suite for you!
